Finally Friday!

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Yay! I'm so excited it's FINALLY Friday! :D

If you couldn't tell I really LOVE fridays, and by the end of the week, I really need the rest. This morning i've had the opportunity to read through some beautiful blog posts enlaced with scripture truths. It has been so very good for my heart. This morning I encourage you to take a moment and sit in the presence of God. Let the Holy Spirit fill your heart with peace and joy. Let him restore you this morning and prepare your heart for whatever this day holds for you.


Pray with me...

Lord,

Fill our hearts this morning with your unfathomable love. Restore our souls with peace and rest. Let us fix our eyes on you and open our hearts to the Joy you bring. Help us today to claim victory in your name against, exhaustion, bad attitudes, anxiety, and stress. Provide us this morning what we need for today. Be with us, watch over us, help us to love. Fill us with Joy today that we may bring you glory. 

 In Jesus Name, Amen

Psalm 51:11-13
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.

Psalm 62:5-8
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;

Four Tips for Creating Community through Blogging

1. Reach out to other bloggers:  this is an  essential when wanting to get into community. It can be as small as a comment on their blog, or an email. I have built relationships with other bloggers through email, commenting on their blogs, etc. For me it has been a beneficial thing, to create community in something that I really didn't know there was any.   This is a great post on why bloggers need community.  2. Join a blog group on Facebook, or some other social media group: I have joined the Peony Project on facebook which is a group for other christian bloggers. It's a great group and i would definitely recommend it!  3. Make meaningful comments: when I say meaningful comments I don't mean that you have to write a novel, but at least engage with the post somehow.
