A few months back She Reads Truth did a study on Hebrews, and since I am currently in a bible study right now that is studying the book of Hebrews I wanted to go back and read it again, particularly chapter 9. Hebrews 9:24 says: "For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, but which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf"  Reading this makes me think of all the times that I've run from God or not done what he's told me to do, or pretty much did my own thing. It also reminds me that of the "worth" that God places on each and every one of us.  God gives his own so

I got assigned to Ashley Woods, you can find out what she got on her blog , because I didn't take any pictures. In this short chapter, we learn that: * God is the vinedresser (15:1) * We are made clean by the word of Christ (15:3) * Christ is the vine and we are the branches (15:5) * We can only bear fruit by abiding in Christ (15: 4 – 7 and 16) * Branches that do not bear fruit are taken away (15:2 and 6) * Branches that bear fruit are pruned so that they will bear more fruit for the glory of God (15: 2, 8, and 16) It is quite simple. For the Christian, abiding in Christ is not optional. We either do or we do not. If we abide in Christ we will bear fruit. God will prune us and we will bear more fruit.
