The Quiet Place

Wishing/hoping: I find a job soon. with school ending soon, I really hope I find one. I had a job interview almost two weeks ago (it will be two weeks this Friday). Even though it wasn't full time I hope I hear back from it soon!  Remembering: last Christmas when my Grandma was still alive, it was fun to spend time with her and my grandpa, I think they enjoyed it.  Wrapping: I  haven't started wrapping yet, I need to start buying things first though.  Baking: I made Jenna's Pumpkin cookies again this week for my class party, they are so good! EATING: I made these Jalapeno Cornbread Muffins the other day, they are so good! I will definitely be making them again!  WEARING:Scarves, if there's one thing i love about fall, it's that you finally get to pull out all of the comfy scarves.  ADMIRING:  My roommate got a pumpkin for our porch and I just love how it looks. Also the beautiful fall colors are starting to change here in VA, i love this time of year so much!  COLLECTING: not really collecting anything lately. I can't believe it's August already, and in a week I will be back in Virginia and starting classes once again for another semester. It seems as though the summer as went by so fast, but anyway today i am linking up with Jenna and Anne for their monthly currently linkup.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a good week! Today I am sharing what i am currently, Designing, enjoying, ordering, celebrating, and tasting. DESIGNING: nothing at the moment, but i am looking forward to decorating my new apartment that i am moving into in June.  ENJOYING: Coffee, there's nothing like enjoying a nice cup of coffee on a beautiful sunny day.  ORDERING: I got Laura Casey's book "Make it Happen" and i love it! It's so good and I'm only on the first couple chapters.  CELEBRATING: This weekend is mothers day so i will be celebrating my mom and all that she does for us.  TASTING:  Yesterday i tasted a new wine and it was really good. WRITING: Just papers for school, but i would like to write some notes to some friends. DREAMING: Of spring and also where this blog will go in the future. I am starting to try some new types of posts, so i am excited to see if they bring another type of follower along with the ones that we already have.  PLANNING: to go back to Michigan today for Spring Break, although i am not looking forward to the cold it will be nice to spend some time with my family.  MAKING: Plans for the blog, and planning out my homework for next week, cause I'm a grad student.  WANT TO BAKE/COOK: I really want to make these cupcakes and this soup looks so good, I may have to make it when I come back from Spring Break.  WATCHING: Friends on netflix, i love that show, i also love finding new shows to watch on there.  ENCOURAGED BY: The She reads Truth Lent study , it is seriously so good! HEARTING:  The new cookbooks and baking books i got for Christmas this year. I made chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel frosting out  of Homemade Decadence by Joy the baker and they were so good!  READING: Catching up on some of my favorite blogs: Oh Simple Thoughts , Wetherills say I Do , and Dearest Love . Also reading the She Reads Truth Esther study.  PINNING: I pinned these cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookies and i can't wait to make them this weekend! So there may be a recipe on the blog next week!  EATING: I made tomatoe basil soup for my friends and I the other night. It was so good and they loved it as well, which was a plus.  I just finished it yesterday.  ANTICIPATING: Going home for spring break in March, it will be nice to be home for a week. I've been kinda busy getting the last bit of school work done. Making: I want to make these almond joy cookies that my mom made, and they are so good! So hopefully now that I'm done with school work i can do that. Watching:  Gilmore Girls. I love to watch that show when I'm blogging. Anticipating: Everything that comes with Christmas and getting to spend time with friends that are like family on Christmas Eve. Listening to | Rivers in Wasteland, Needtobreathe . Loving this album, I love driving in my car turning it up, So good! If you haven't listened to their newest album you should check it out! Watching | Criminal Minds, I've been watching it on Netflix since all of the current seasons are on their right now. I love the psychological aspect of it and since I am working towards being a professional counselor, i love how it focuses on why people are the way they are. If you like that kinda thing you should watch it. Encouraged by | She Reads Truth Hosea study , I know I mentioned this in my last currently post but it's just so good! And it has totally spoken so much truth into my life, I love how all of their studies just really challenge me and help me to grow as a christian women.  Excited for | Meg and Amy's fall Etsy swap, I just signed up the other day and I am so excited to participate for the first time!
