Here is a challenge for you that I borrowed from a friend of mine. It's called Give a Little Grace. Write a compliment note to yourself from God's perspective. Then, put it in a place where you can read it every day, perhaps on your mirror. Then every time you read it remember that God loves you for exactly who you are. So remember not to beat yourself up when you don't get things right. Read the note and give yourself a little grace.
Romans 5:19-21
"For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
2 Corinthians 12:8-10
"Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Be encouraged, God's grace is enough.
