1 Year of Ministry Giveaway.

Since we turned one Year Old This week, we are celebrating with a Giveaway.     I haven't read 1000 Gifts--I would probably buy warm winter socks if I won the $25. Practical, but I need them! :)

    i haven't read 1000 gifts but have been wanting to get it & devour it!! :) i've heard so many good things! as for the $25 to Target...i would buy some fun scrapbooking/craft stuff!

    If I won the gift card, to be honest, I'd buy slippers for me and my housemates. We live in ottawa and have tile floors. It is FREEZING. ;) Serves us right for living in Canada. ;)
    And I haven't read 1000 gifts, but my mom knows Ann well, so I'd love to read it! :)

    I haven't read 1,00 Gifts and I think I would use the gift card to buy gloves and a scarf for this winter season (I know it is practical, but it is definitely needed because of this harsh cold snap that is happening where I live).

    Hooray for a celebration on your blog! I'm a little late to comment (whoops!) but I just had to say that I loved 1,000 Gifts and would likely use the giftcard towards new shoes or clothes. Or just about anything since I love Target. :)

Four Tips for Creating Community through Blogging

1. Reach out to other bloggers:  this is an  essential when wanting to get into community. It can be as small as a comment on their blog, or an email. I have built relationships with other bloggers through email, commenting on their blogs, etc. For me it has been a beneficial thing, to create community in something that I really didn't know there was any.   This is a great post on why bloggers need community.  2. Join a blog group on Facebook, or some other social media group: I have joined the Peony Project on facebook which is a group for other christian bloggers. It's a great group and i would definitely recommend it!  3. Make meaningful comments: when I say meaningful comments I don't mean that you have to write a novel, but at least engage with the post somehow.
