The Community Brew: Cause We're Worth It

Today I am linking up with Madison of The Wetherills Say I Do and Rachel of Oh Simple Thoughts for their community brew linkup. This month the theme is open to share whatever is on your heart. So today, I hope you can join me with your cup of coffee or tea and sit back while I share my heart with you.

A few months back She Reads Truth did a study on Hebrews, and since I am currently in a bible study right now that is studying the book of Hebrews I wanted to go back and read it again, particularly chapter 9.

Hebrews 9:24 says: "For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, but which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf"

Reading this makes me think of all the times that I've run from God or not done what he's told me to do, or pretty much did my own thing.

It also reminds me that of the "worth" that God places on each and every one of us.  God gives his own son on our behalf. He risked it all for us, cause he thought we we're worth it. while He could have just walked away and said, "there's no way I'm doing that" but he didn't he went through with it.  Just thinking about that gives me goosebumps. Daily he tells us that we're worth it, through his word and the grace that he gives us each and every day. He did it for us, rest in the truth of Hebrews 9:24, and take to heart in the words below from the devotional at She Reads Truth.

"When Christ groaned "it is finished" from the cross and the veil ripped from Heaven to Earth, it was indeed FINISHED once and for all. We just get confess and believe" --She Reads Truth

Where do you see worth in your lives?

Be sure to linkup with Madison and Rachel, and check out their amazing blogs!

  1. I feel worth in the fact that God forgives me and shows me mercy and favor when I truly don't deserve it!
