A few weeks ago i talked about what the bible says about singleness and how as women we all want to pursued and sought after. And how God is pursuing us every single day, no matter what we say or do. Today i want to talk about it more as a season of life, we all have different seasons that we go through weather it be a season of joy, pain, loss, or heartache. Even though all of these seasons are different they help us to grow as women of God in each and every way. As a single women myself, i know the struggle of feeling like you are just sitting and waiting on something that you think is never going to happen. Waiting isn't easy, and as someone who gets impatient when I have to wait, it's hard not knowing who I will be with or where I will be. It's hard to just let go and trust that God will work it all out, without worrying about what's coming next. In those times when I feel as though I am "waiting" God reassures me that no matter what he's got it, he's right there even when I just wanna cry. He's right there telling me to rest in this season of life and not skip by, so that I miss what God has to teach me through this season of singleness. I know that this could just be season, or it could be a lifetime, but I am encouraged that no matter what God's right there guiding me along the way. Joshua 1:9 reminds me just that-"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Sisters, rest in the truth that he is with you no matter what season of life you are in.
