Do you ever feel like you don't pray enough or don't know what to say when you are praying? Sometimes it's hard to get the words out, or sometimes we simply don't know what to say. In those times when we can't get the words out, God is right there listening to the words that have resonated in our heart and using them to shape us into the women he calls us to be.
I was watching a video the other day when I was at a retreat for a discipleship class I am taking at my church, the first words out of the guys mouth on the video were, "I wish I could be the kind of person who does the right thing, not just the big things, but the small things, the unnoticed things. What I do when no-one is watching" When I heard that, it reminded me of prayer.
Throughout scripture when Jesus is talking about prayer he is tells us to go into a room and close the door, pray and mediate on his word. Prayer is all about being faithful as we have that one on one conversation with him. Being faithful as we seek his will and as we seek to become more like him. So sisters, rest in the truth that Romans 12:12 gives us, be faithful as you pray, and find joy in the process of seeking to be more like him.
