When I thought of this months theme I immediately thought of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 which says, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus"
Every time my close group of friends and I get together, we always end up in a time a prayer. Praying for one another as we struggle with relationships, time, money, etc. It's amazing how God always brings our time of hanging out and sharing our lives, to prayer. I love it! When we were in college, we would always have Friday night dinners/a movie/time of sharing our hearts with each other. When I look back on these times, i would never take them back, cause sisters they were precious. And once again, God brought us back to prayer. I feel so blessed to be able to have friends that will pray for me and with me.
Prayer is one of those things that some people may not feel comfortable doing out loud, or maybe it's something that you don't do enough. Weather you are praying by yourself or in a group, know that he hears each and every one of our prayers. He hears them in your brokenness, sadness, and joy. My dear sisters, He is right there listening. Rest in the truth that 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 provides, and let it resonate in your heart as you pray.
