Meet Jenn:

 Hi there! I'm Jenn, and my blog is called what you make it Originally it was another name, but about a year ago,  I changed it because I made a radical decision:  I was going to stop complaining about how my life wasn't what I wanted it to be. Instead, I wanted to see the perspective that God has me exactly where he wants me, and that I can choose to make it awesome, and get out of it what he wants me to. Let me tell you: it's been a roller coaster, as you'll see in my grab bag of a blog. I write about my job (I recently quit my day job to pursue event planning!), our new house, my insecurities and imperfections. And the constants: my relationship with God, my hubby, my family, and friends. And then just a little of the other things I love, like fashion, cooking, photography, etc. I've decided that life is an adventure, but it's all in what you make it. Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a good week! Today I am linking up with Jenna and Anne for their currently linkup. You can read my post from last time here . So, here's what I am currently, reading, wishlisting, loving, appreciating, and creating.  Reading: Hebrews, The Nearness of God by Lisa Harper for my womens bible study. Four Tips for Creating Community through Blogging

1. Reach out to other bloggers:  this is an  essential when wanting to get into community. It can be as small as a comment on their blog, or an email. I have built relationships with other bloggers through email, commenting on their blogs, etc. For me it has been a beneficial thing, to create community in something that I really didn't know there was any.   This is a great post on why bloggers need community.  2. Join a blog group on Facebook, or some other social media group: I have joined the Peony Project on facebook which is a group for other christian bloggers. It's a great group and i would definitely recommend it!  3. Make meaningful comments: when I say meaningful comments I don't mean that you have to write a novel, but at least engage with the post somehow.
