Coffee Date

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a good week! Today i am linking up with Jenna of Dearest Love for a coffee date, it's where we share what's been going on in our lives or the high's and lows of that week. So today i am sharing with you a few highs and a low for this week.

Highs
Finally getting registered for classes last week, it was stressful at first, but now it's better now that i've got a week behind me.
Also finally getting all my books, which is kind of both a high and low cause now I have tons of reading to do.
Our new design is finally done. I hope you like it! We are loving it and all the thanks goes to Rachel Cox of Oh Simple Thoughts, she did a great job and she is so great to work with!
Low
Missing my family, It's always hard to come back and be so far away from them. But i will be back in March for spring break, so i am excited about that! I just wish they could come visit!
What are your highs and lows for the week?

  1. Being away at school from family is always a mixture of fun things and hard things. I'm sure March will be wonderful and that the Lord will do great things with all of you while you're apart! :)

  2. I love the layout of your blog! And I hear you on the stresses of school. I am in my last semester of college so I've gotten used to registration and getting my books and starting class, but each time I do it it definitely tires me out! Good luck in school! :)

  4. Your blog design looks beautiful! Rachel did a great job. :)
I'm sorry you're missing your family. Do you ever skype with them or send care packages? I wonder if that would ease the pain a little bit.

Have a great weekend, friend! Thanks for linking up!

Today She is sharing her heart on this months theme: Beauty in the Brokenness. So be sure to check out her blog at the links below! If you've ever heard a group of people share their testimonies, a lot of them have a common thread: brokenness. Why is it that so many of us have to hit rock bottom before we'll realize our infinite need for a Savior? Finding Comfort in the "Waiting Room"

Founders Note: Today's post is written by our new friend Brooke. Her blog is called "Living as a Single Gal". (you can find the link below) We've just discovered Brooke's blog and we look forward to unwrapping more of the great wisdom she has to share. Without further ado, here is her post... Imagine, if you will, that you are in a waiting room. The room is crowded; people standing, people on chairs, people sitting on the floor; this room is totally packed full. And all of these people are waiting. Waiting for what you may ask? That’s simple; love. You are standing in a corner with some of your girlfriends having some laughs. Then one of them gets called out of the room. Then another. Then another; another one bites the dust. One by one all of your single girlfriends are leaving the waiting room and finding true love. Not only are your friends leaving you, but the rest room seems to empty out significantly. And then there’s you. --...
