Today I (Britney) am co-hosting with one of my good blog friends Jenna of Dearest Love for her monthly coffee Date Linkup. I am sharing my highs and lows from the week as a time where we get to sit down and have coffee, and share about what's going on in our lives. Which by the way, I would love to do with some of my blog friends. Maybe soon, but for now let's sit back, grab our cups of coffee and share what's on our heart and minds.
Highs//
-had a presentation to do on tuesday, and it went really well! I am so glad it did, cause at the last minute one our group members dropped the class so there was only two of us presenting for 50 minutes.
-Found some places to live yesterday, since my lease ends in May. I am looking at one of them today and I am excited to see it! Hopefully it works out that I can live there, cause it looks really nice!
-My birthday is next week, I turn 26. My parents sent me two presents already and i love them! I think 26 is gonna be a good year, 25 was too though, don't get me wrong.
Lows//
The stress of the presentation and having one less group member. But it ended up going well, so it's all good.
2. Link up one post from this week that gives a glimpse into your life lately. This could be a coffee date, highs and lows, recent update, etc. Make sure it's a link to your post and not your blog URL.
3. Important: Comment on the blog that linked up before you. This linkup us about building community, so this step is important. Feel free to comment on more than just one!
4. Share about the coffee date via social media using the hashtag #coffeedatefriday.

ReplyDeleteWow, a 50 minute presentation sounds pretty scary to me! Ha. It sounds like you did a great job! Congrats on maybe finding a new place to live! Keep me updated! Finding a new place can definitely be stressful, but it sounds like you're excited about it which is great! I hope you get the place you want!
ReplyDeleteThanks for cohosting with me, Britney!
I know right!? Presentations are crazy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThat's good! Glad you found a place.
My search went well, i am putting in an application at a place. I am excited about it!
Yeah it probably does to you. lol! welcome to grad school (meaning that's pretty normal for masters level) That was like my second long presentation this semester, so it really wasn't too bad. But it went well, and i'm glad we went first cause now it's over.
ReplyDeleteThanks girl! The place i looked at on Friday was so nice, i love it! I went back to my townhouse and filled out the application as soon as i got back. I am excited to live there!
